About the Program:
The doubles game, unlike indoor play (which specializes in specific positions: libero, setter, etc), emphasizes the development of the "All Around Player". Players will need to learn all aspects of the game (serve, pass, set, hit, block, and most importantly communicate) under adverse conditions (wind, sun, sand, grass).
Not only will doubles make you a better player, but it will show you why we all play this game. IT IS FUN! Playing doubles will give you the "EDGE" when returning to indoor.
Our program is a sport specific conditioning program that focuses on the development of speed, agility, and power. You will be trained by some of the most talented players in the area, with a Player to Coach Ratio of 8:1. We will offer flexible practice schedules in order to accommodate busy summer schedules.
Program Details:
- Program runs : June 21st through August 29th
- Sand practice location: Washington Lake Park - Washington Twp, NJ
- Grass practice location: Cherry Hill High School West - Cherry Hill, NJ
- Low Player to Coach Ratio 8:1 enables frequent one-on-one coaching
Program Costs:
Training, Tournaments & Equipment Package: $400
- 2 (3 hour practice sessions) per week ($200 value)
- Official AVP beach ball ($60 value)
- 5 beach/grass tournaments ($125 value)
- Wilson AVP Player bag ($50 value)
- AVPNext membership ($10 value)

- Over 10 years of coaching experience and over 25 years playing
- Resident pro (5 points volleyball complex 1999-2006)

- Loyola University, MD (Division I)- MAAC Rookie of the Year 2007
- 1st team all-MAAC 2009 (finished 13th in the nation in kill %)

Quan is among one of the best coaches I've had in the 10 years that I've been playing. No matter what level of play I'm at, he is always able to raise my skill level and improve my game. Yet, he also keeps it real and fun, which is one of the reasons why I love beach volleyball so much today!
