Quan's in New Jersey and the surrounding states have spread to all aspects of volleyball from developing players to experienced professionals, both indoor and in the sand. Quan’s 10+ years coaching and 25+ years playing includes being Resident Pro (5 Points Volleyball Complex 1999-2006) and Head Coach of Rutgers University – Camden Women’s VB (NCAA Div III 2007-08).
COLLIN SIBILIA – DIRECTOR/COACH- Player’s Edge Summer Program
Player’s Edge and Quandomania Alumni (2011 & 2012) - Collin Sibilia was a 4-year varsity starter for St. Augustine Preparatory School (2009-2012) where he holds the record for the most career kills. He lead St. Augustine to a National Division Championship in the Olympic Conference (2011) while being named to the 2nd Team Courier-Post All South Jersey (2011) and 1st Team All Olympic Conference (2011-2012). After two years of playing Division III soccer at Misericordia University, Collin became involved with the University’s Women’s Volleyball team. Collin is the Student Assistant Coach for the team. He was part of the MAC Freedom Conference Coaching Staff of the Year in 2014. While he coaches all aspects of volleyball for the Women’s team, Collin’s specialty is running a unique, quick and creative offense. He also specializes in blocking. Collin continues to play doubles competitively on the beach and grass during the summer.
ANGIE SMITH - C0-DIRECTOR / DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS
Angie Smith is entering her 6th season as a coach for Quandomania Volleyball Club. Angie is originally from Michigan and played all four years in High School earning numerous varsity letters and all-conference mentions. With her, she brings 15 years of coaching experience having started coaching right out of high school for her local middle school program. She quickly moved up through the ranks taking on their freshman team as well as becoming the assistant for the Varsity program. In 2005, Angie made the move to the East Coast and quickly immersed herself in the volleyball community. She was hired in 2007 at Division III Rutgers-Camden and spent two seasons with the Scarlet Raptors before moving on to another NCAA Divison III program at Rowan University in 2009, where she stayed for one season. Currently, Angie is the Assistant Coach at the University of the Sciences and she will start her 4th season with the Division II program this summer. She is also extremely active as a player while serving as the Head Coach and Captain of the adult women’s club, Hi-Ya! Volleyball Club having traveled to USAV Nationals with that team for five years, finishing in the top 20 teams in the nation on numerous occasions. Angie graduated from Grand Valley State University in Michigan with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public and Nonprofit Administration. Smith currently, works for Inspira Health Network as the Assistant Director of the Inspira Foundation Gloucester County.
TODD STRASSBERGER – Coach, Players’ Edge / Boys
Todd Strassberger is proud to be the first high school athlete to receive training in the Quandomania volleyball program. Todd was discovered by Quan after a promising freshman year on the junior varsity team at Washington Township High School. One season of Quandomania beach volleyball training was sufficient to equip Todd with the technique, fitness, and mentality necessary to earn regular starts with the varsity squad. Todd’s dedication to Quan’s indoor and beach training continued to pay dividends in his senior year, when he played a central role in advancing Washington Township to the school’s best finish in the New Jersey State Tournament (5th place, 2001). In addition, Todd was named the Courier Post ‘South Jersey Player of the Year,’ and he was selected for the 1st Team All-State (2001). Todd attended Rutgers University School of Engineering, where he served as captain and president of the Rutgers Club Volleyball Team. In 2008, he became the first volleyball athlete to be inducted into the Washington Township High School Sports Hall of Fame. To date, Todd’s volleyball career has garnered him great success and no small amount of professional earnings. Noteworthy finishes include the following: USAV Silver Medalist (AA, 2009), 1st Place in the Ocean City AVP Young Guns Qualifier Tour (2010), 9th Place in the Baltimore Preakness National Volleyball League Event (2012), 17th Place in the Belmar Jose Cuervo Pro Beach Series (2012), and 25th Place in the Chicago Jose Cuervo Pro Beach Series (2012).
Fran Bolletino – Coach
Fran Bolletino has been contributing to the volleyball world since 2006. Fran was a two-time MVP and 1st Team All South Jersey member at Eastern High School. In 2012, Fran transferred to Penn State University here he was a member of their club team and earned a 2013 EIVA All Star Award as well as an honorable mention for All American. Fran was one of the captains of the Penn State club team that finished 5th in CVF Nationals 2014. While attending Penn State, Fran was fortunate enough to assist and practice with the women’s varsity team that has recently won back to back national championships (2013-2014). Under head coach Russ Rose, Fran has learned many coaching styles and approaches to developing new players, as well as working with advanced ones. Fran has studied and learned under the best women’s program in Division I history and he brings that knowledge to Quandomania.
Fran as reaped the benefits from the training of Quandomania and it allows him to compete at the highest level whether it’s indoor, grass, or in the sand. He continues to compete and train using the same methods that we bring to our players today. Fran also assists Quan and Rich Saunders as Head of Player Personnel at The University of the Sciences of Philadelphia where they are establishing a new Quando philosophy.
Ashley McGinn – Coach, Player's Edge Head Coach
Ashley McGinn has over 10+ years of volleyball playing/coaching experience. After Ashley's time of playing high school volleyball, she left GCIT with the all-time record for Most Career Kills. Ashley continued to play at the collegiate level and graduated from Georgia State University with a 4-year Varsity letter for D1 Volleyball. Ashley still competes today at the Semi-Pro level and has earned over $5,000 of winnings in the 2021 Doubles season. Ashley is now a coach with us at Quandomania Volleyball Club and is the Head Coach of our Player's Edge Summer Programs.
Nina Camaioni – Coach
Nina Camaioni was a participant in the first year of The Player’s Edge in 2005 which catapulted her high school game to the next level. Along with winning the title, 2006 Gatorade Player of the Year, she led Williamstown High School to a state championship. With the help of the Quandomania family and lots of hard work, Nina received a full scholarship to play Division I Volleyball at Loyola University in Maryland. Nina’s coaching credentials include Assistant Coach – East Coast Crush (2011-12), Rowan University Women’s NCAA (NCAA Div III 2011), and Quandomania VBC.
John Cunningham – Coach
Player’s Edge and Quandomania Alumni (2010 & 2011)
John Cunningham lead Cinnaminson High School to a NJ top-10 Finish (2011) while being named to 3rd Team All State (2011) and 1st Team All South Jersey (2011). John is currently playing as a starter at Kean University Mens VB (NCAA Div III) and has been a 3-time Rookie of the Week.
Mat Ogin – Coach, Clinics
Mat Ogin’s college coaching accolades are rivaled only by his playing credentials: Intensity VB, East Coast Crush, Quandomania VBC, NJAC Coach of the Year (2010), Rutgers University – Camden Coach of the Year (2009), USAV National Champion (AA, 2010), USAV Silver Medalist (AA, 2009), and three top-25 finishes in recent AVP seasons. Mat also used many of the volley skills he learned from Quandomania instruction when he competed for the US national fistball team at the 2011 Fistball World Championships in Austria.
Eric Zaun – Coach - R.I.P.
Player’s Edge and Quandomania Alumni (2010 & 2011)
Eric Zaun lead Cherry Hill HS East to a NJ top-10 finish (2011) while being named to 1st Team All-State (2011) and 2-time Courier Post South Jersey Player of the Year (2010 & 2011). Eric is currently playing for Limestone College Mens VB (NCAA Div II) under scholarship.2013/2014 accolades:
Ranked #1 player in the nation for all players under 23 by USA Volleyball ; 2014 National Volleyball League Rookie of the Year ; Two 3rd place finished in the 2014 NVL Tour (Atlanta & Ohio) ; 1st place 2014 Susquehanna Smash; 3 place 2014 Pottstown Rumble ; Ranked #1 in the Volley America Grand Prix rankings through summer 2013; Won 10 straight Open tournaments in 2013 ; 2013 & 2014 All-Conference Carolinas Selection / Conference Carolinas All-Tournament Team selection; 2014 Conference Carolinas Scholar Athlete of the Year.
Rich Saunders – Coach
Rich Saunders has been a coach for at Quandomania since the 2015-2016 season. He was Quan’s Assistant Coach at University of Sciences. He has recently been promoted to become the Head Coach at University of Sciences.
Kimo Aweau - Coach
Kimo has been coaching for 18 years. He has been coaching club in Oklahoma since 2009 and in New Jersey before that. Over the years, he has led 5 teams to the OKRVA Regional Tournament Finals with 3 Runner-up finishes for Oklahoma Peak Performance, and a Runner-up finish, and 1 Regional championship for Oklahoma Charge Volleyball earning a bid to Nationals. He was also their Director of Coaching Education and Assistant Director of Coaches for 4 seasons.
Kimo was an Assistant Coach for the Oklahoma Region Volleyball Association(OKRVA) High Performance Youth and Select teams in 2009 and earned a National Championship with the Youth Division team. In 2010 he was the Head Coach for the Select Division.
From 2009-2012, Kimo was involved with the US Paralympic Sitting Volleyball program as a Pipeline coach and the Team Leader for the US Men’s Sitting Volleyball program during the 2010 Sitting Volleyball World Championship Tournament.
Kimo has been a part of 7 OSSAA Regional Championship winning teams and led multiple Oklahoma high school teams to the finals of the State Tournament resulting in 3 Runner-up finishes and 1 State Championship title.
He has run his own sand volleyball program in 2017-2018 in Oklahoma called LaniKai Volleyball and helped underserved high school programs and athletes with affordable camps and clinics in Arkansas and the Oklahoma City metro area.
Kimo has earned Conference, Region, and State Coach of the Year honors in 2015 and 2018.
He started playing in 1995 with West Chester University’s Men’s Volleyball Club team and continued his playing career, after graduating in 2000 with a BS Fitness Specialist degree, with a men’s club team out of Turnersville, NJ until moving to Oklahoma in 2008. He began his coaching career in 2003 with Intensity Volleyball Club and hasn’t stopped since. He loves the game, introducing it to new players, and refining it for experienced athletes. He is excited to be a coach at Quandomania and is looking forward to developing players of all levels in the region.
