Are you looking to take your volleyball skills to the next level, but you don't always have access to the gym? These drills target specific aspects of the game and can help you refine your techniques and elevate your performance.

Wall Hitting Drill:

  1. Find a solid wall or garage door and mark a target area at the height you typically aim for when attacking. Stand a few feet away from the wall and practice hitting the ball against the target area, focusing on technique, accuracy, and power. There is no rush here, take your time and focus on your form. This drill allows you to work on your arm swing, timing, and precision, helping you become a more effective hitter. KIDS - GET PERMISSION FIRST!!!

Solo Setting Challenge:

  1. Setters can benefit from practicing their craft even without a teammate. Take a volleyball and work on your setting technique by repeatedly setting the ball high into the air and catching it. This may seem overly simple, but - trust the Quandomania experts. Master the basics and it will take you far. Gradually increase the difficulty by adding spin to your sets or attempting more challenging angles. This drill will improve your hand-eye coordination, touch, and accuracy as a setter.

Shadow Blocking:

  1. Improve your blocking skills by simulating blocking movements against an imaginary attacker. Stand in front of a mirror or a wall and practice your footwork, arm positioning, and timing as if you were blocking an opponent's attack. This drill helps you refine your blocking technique, decision-making, and spatial awareness.
